6,30

An old French variety, the most delicious of the red Alpine strawberries. Its two-centimeter conical fruits have a special bright aroma and taste. An early remontant variety, bearing fruit from May until the first frost.

These strawberries were first discovered about 400 years ago in the low Alps. Unlike the wild strawberry, which bears fruit only in spring, the alpine strawberry bears berries from July until frost. The first, alpine varieties, obtained as a result of long selections, were called Bush Alpine or Gaillon. In Europe, great successes were achieved in the cultivation of strawberries even before the 18th century, and the new varieties, when grown in the right conditions, are incredibly productive and are grown as commercial ones.
