A biennial herbaceous plant, 60-70 cm high. The flowers are large, bell-shaped, of various bright colors, collected in spectacular inflorescences. Flowering lasts from June to August. Frost- and drought-resistant culture. Prefers fertile, loose, water-free soils. Develops well in sunny areas, but withstands partial shade. Seeds are sown in open ground in May-June. Shoots appear after 8-10 days. Seedlings dive according to the 10×10 cm scheme. In autumn, plants are transplanted to a permanent place at a distance of 30-40 cm from each other. Blooms in the second year after sowing. Faded inflorescences must be removed. Decorative and medicinal culture. Excellent for cutting.
