Perennial plant. It was grown under the name “bergamot” – for its similarity to the aroma of a citrus plant – bergamot. Monarda is undeservedly rarely used by gardeners to decorate the garden for its “shaggy” flowers – but they have a special charm. This is a bright long-flowering plant – a honey plant with unusual flowers, attracts bees and butterflies to the garden, while scaring away harmful insects. Bergamot smells nice with a lemon aroma, and just one leaf will give a glass of tea an exquisite taste.
