The variety "Zirnytsia" belongs to the alfalfa sowing variety. The bush is semi-erect, the bushiness is good. The stems are up to 100 cm high, of medium coarseness, glabrous, branched. The leaves are medium in size, obovate and elongated-elliptic, soft; leafiness 46-53%. The inflorescence is a cylindrical capitate raceme, medium dense. The flowers are light purple. From the beginning of spring vegetation to the first mowing 66-71 days, from the first to the second mowing 35-40, from the second to the third 30-32 days; from the beginning of spring growth to full seed ripeness 120-126 days, after the first mowing ripe seeds are obtained in 80-90 days. Winter- and drought-resistant, affected by fusarium below average, yellow spotting is insignificant. Regrowth is good in spring, and rapid after mowing. Seed yield is 6.3, and green mass is 690 centners/hectare.
