Large, glossy, pear-shaped eggplant. This mid-season (120-130 days from germination) variety is very productive and heat-resistant, it is cultivated in Sicily in the Agrigento area, especially in Sciacca. Vigorous plants reach a height of 60-80 cm and produce 8-9 eggplants weighing 150-200 g each. It is valued for the taste and quality of the fruit, which is used both for stuffing and for frying, absorbing little oil.
