Fungicide Flint Star (Magnicur)
Magnikur Star is a combined agent with a broad spectrum of action. It is based on two main components - trifloxystrobin and pyrimethanil. Each of these substances has an individual mechanism of action, so their combination does not cause resistance.
The old name of the fungicide is Flint Star Bayer, and many people know the drug under this name as an effective tool that can protect and cure apple trees, grapes, and roses from powdery mildew, gray rot, scab, and rust. Under the new name, it began to enter the Ukrainian market in 2019.
Main advantages:
- complete distribution over all parts of the plant, including areas where the drug did not directly come into contact during treatment;
- maintaining effectiveness for a long period;
- complete safety of crops;
- resistance to temperature and washing.
Bayer's Flint/Magnicur fungicide is used as a preventive and treatment agent. It is recommended to treat vineyards before fruit formation, apple trees at the first signs of disease, and roses are treated 3 times during the budding period. The solution is prepared in a proportion of 5 ml per 10 liters of water. This amount is enough to treat one hundredth of a hectare of roses or grapes. The consumption for apple trees depends on the age - 10 liters of solution is enough to treat 6-8 young or 3-4 trees older than 5 years.
